QMines and Skyharbour Resources map multi‑mine growth plans in copper‑gold and uranium sectors

Australian explorer QMines (ASX:QML) is targeting Queensland’s copper‑gold assets to build a multi‑mine hub. Led by Chairman and Managing Director Andrew Sparke, the company has focused on shallow, high‑grade brownfield deposits such as Mt Chalmers, aiming to bring the first mine to cash flow before expanding to additional sites. QMines cites strong government backing and a sustainability‑focused model that avoids shareholder dilution.

Canadian uranium developer Skyharbour Resources (TSX‑V:SYH) is pursuing a hybrid growth strategy in the Athabasca Basin. President and CEO Jordan Trimble says the firm now holds interests in 44 projects, including the advanced Moore and Russell Lake targets. With partnerships involving Denison Mines and Orano, Skyharbour plans more than 30 km of drilling in 2026 and continues to add prospects through a dedicated generator platform, seeking to exploit the basin’s world‑class high‑grade uranium deposits.
