QNET directs Ghana offices to relocate to increase transparency

QNET, a global wellness and lifestyle company, has directed its accredited offices in Ghana to relocate to commercial areas. The company stated this move aims to increase public scrutiny and allow authorities to better distinguish legitimate business activities from fraudulent operations.

QNET Global Compliance Officer Naana Quartey reported that the company is collaborating with the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) and the Ghana Police Service to combat illegal elements using the QNET name. Quartey noted that unauthorized individuals have been using the brand to perpetrate travel, employment, and human-trafficking scams. She clarified that QNET is a direct-selling business and does not operate as a travel or employment agency.

During a seminar in Kumasi, Quartey appealed to religious leaders and pastors to educate their congregations about these risks. She emphasized that QNET does not request money in exchange for overseas job or travel opportunities. The company has also participated in workshops with representatives from 13 Central and West African countries to address cross-border fraud.
