Qom reception hall sealed over hijab non-compliance

The Ghadir Galaxy Reception Hall in Qom, Iran, has been sealed by authorities following a private company event attended by former footballer Ali Daei and his wife.

According to reports, the closure was ordered by the Qom prosecutor due to what officials termed ‘norm-breaking’ regarding the wife’s failure to observe the compulsory hijab. In addition to the business being shut down, legal cases have been opened against the organizers of the event.
