Qonto opens new Paris headquarters and expands Southern Europe investment

European fintech company Qonto has inaugurated a new headquarters in Paris, known as ‘Qonto Bonne Nouvelle’. Located in a historic building in the center of the French capital, the 11,000 square meter space is double the size of the company’s previous office and can accommodate 900 workstations across nine floors.

The move is part of an expansion plan that includes a 24% increase in investment in Southern Europe. Qonto, which serves over 750,000 business clients across eight European markets, intends to use the new facilities to support its next phase of European growth.

In Portugal, the company is focusing on long-term strategy by adapting its services for SMEs and micro-enterprises. Planned developments for the Portuguese market include the introduction of a national IBAN and integrations with local systems such as Multibanco, MB WAY, and electronic invoicing services.
