Qoo10 announces 2026 MEGA BEAUTY AWARDS with “TRUE ICONS” theme

eBay Japan G.K., the operator of the online shopping mall Qoo10, has announced the “Qoo10 MEGA BEAUTY AWARDS 2026.” The annual theme for the event is “TRUE ICONS.”

The awards will recognize beauty products based on three criteria: sales performance on Qoo10, general customer voting, and evaluations from beauty experts. The selection period for sales performance runs from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026. Public voting is scheduled to begin on October 1, 2026, with the final awards ceremony to be held in Tokyo on December 8, 2026.

A total of 171 awards will be presented, including 10 Grand Prizes, 116 Category Awards, and 45 Special Awards. Recent trends indicate a shift in consumer interest; while skincare and makeup previously accounted for 80.5% of award-winning items, that figure dropped to 62.2% in the first half of 2026. Conversely, categories such as hair care, body care, UV care, color contact lenses, inner beauty, and beauty electronics have seen significant growth.
