Qoo10 to open experiential ‘SAMPLE HOUSE’ facility in Shibuya

eBay Japan G.K., the operator of the online shopping mall Qoo10, will open a new experiential facility called ‘SAMPLE HOUSE’ in Shibuya, Tokyo, on October 1, 2026.

The facility is designed to bridge the gap between online shopping and physical product experience. It will serve as an information hub where Qoo10 users can touch, test, and review products to better understand textures, scents, and usage before purchasing.

Operating on a reservation-only basis for Qoo10 members, the venue expects to host approximately 700 visitors per day, totaling about 20,000 visitors per month. The facility will be divided into two floors, showcasing approximately 20 brands on the first floor and 80 brands on the second floor, with brand lineups rotating every three months. Visitors will be able to take home seven types of sample products per person.
