Qookka Games announces Japanese beta test for new Sangokushi mobile game

Qookka Games has announced an upcoming beta test in Japan for its new mobile game, ‘Sangokushi Senkiban’. Developed by the team behind ‘Sangokushi Shinsen’, the title is an SRPG and SLG hybrid created under an official license from Koei Tecmo Games’ ‘Sangokushi 14’.

The game features turn-based tactical battles on a grid-based battlefield, where players command units of up to five generals. It emphasizes strategic depth through unit composition, skill timing, and environmental factors. Players can engage in various scales of real-time alliance battles, ranging from small 3vs3 skirmishes to massive 100vs100 conflicts.

Additionally, the mobile title ‘Sangokushi Shinsen’ is launching a global original scenario titled ‘Heien Shunju’ on September 12. This update introduces a ‘Training Ground’ system for customizing troop types, evolves the ‘Political Decree’ system, and offers the general Lu Bu for free to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the ‘Sangokushi’ series.
