QS I-GAUGE National Summit addresses AI in Indian education

The National Summit on AI in Indian Education, organized by QS I-GAUGE, was held in Gandhinagar to discuss the responsible and ethical integration of artificial intelligence across K-12 and higher education sectors.

Under the theme ‘Advancing Responsible AI for Access, Equity and Excellence’, the summit convened academic leaders, policymakers, and technology experts. Discussions focused on AI readiness, governance, and academic integrity. Arjunbhai Devabhai Modhwadia, Minister for Science & Technology, Forests and Environment for the Government of Gujarat, emphasized the need for digital and AI literacy to be integrated into school and college curricula to prepare students for an AI-first future.

The summit occurs as India advances its AI capabilities through the IndiaAI Mission, a national initiative with an outlay of ₹10,372 crore.
