At the Snapdragon Summit 2026, Qualcomm unveiled several major hardware advancements focused on AI integration and performance. The new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 mobile chipset features CPU prime cores reaching 5GHz and achieved over 5.6 million points on the AnTuTu Benchmark, outperforming the iPhone 18 Pro Max in testing.

For audio wearables, the Snapdragon Sound Elite Gen 2 platform was introduced. This chip doubles the AI processing capabilities of its predecessor, offering 128 GOPS. It integrates Micro-Power Wi-Fi 6E directly into the silicon, allowing devices like earbuds and smart glasses to connect to the cloud independently of a smartphone. The platform also supports real-time translation and multimodal AI interactions.
