Qualin launches first private Medicine course in Penedo

Qualin – Faculdade de Saúde has launched its operations in Penedo, Alagoas, introducing the first private Medicine course in the region. The institution aims to expand educational opportunities and stimulate the local economy and healthcare sector.

Founder Daniel Marinho noted that the establishment of the college follows a family legacy in higher education, citing his grandfather, former Penedo mayor Dr. Raimundo Marinho, who founded the first private college in the Alagoas interior in 1972. The new institution is positioned to serve Penedo and surrounding municipalities in Alagoas and Sergipe.
