Qualys launches TruConfidence for autonomous cyber risk remediation
Qualys has introduced TruRisk Eliminate 2.0, featuring TruConfidence, a new remediation intelligence and orchestration engine. This technology is designed to power a new operating model called Autonomous RemOps, aimed at addressing the speed of vulnerability exploitation in the era of frontier AI.
The engine coordinates the remediation of cyber risks across endpoints, cloud environments, and applications. It is designed to identify compensatory controls to apply mitigations when immediate patching is not feasible, ensuring business continuity by monitoring system health, such as CPU usage and memory issues, during deployment.
By combining autonomous remediation with patch reliability scoring and progressive rollouts, the tool seeks to bridge the gap between security teams identifying vulnerabilities and IT operations teams patching them, moving remediation timelines from weeks to hours.
