Qualys launches TruRisk Eliminate 2.0 for autonomous cyber risk remediation

Qualys has released TruRisk Eliminate 2.0, featuring TruConfidence, an AI-driven intelligence and orchestration engine designed to automate vulnerability remediation. This tool aims to implement what the company calls ‘Autonomous RemOps,’ allowing organizations to mitigate cyber risks at machine speed while maintaining business continuity.

The system is built on data from over 500 million installed patches. According to Qualys, the technology achieves a rollback rate of less than 0.1%, with 40% of interventions performed autonomously. The platform addresses the growing gap between the speed of vulnerability discovery and the manual processes traditionally used by security and IT teams to deploy fixes.

Key features integrated into the new release include an AI-powered Patch Reliability Score, orchestrated phased remediation via the ‘Sara’ agent, peer-to-peer distribution, and compensatory controls. These capabilities are intended to help security teams manage complex infrastructures by selecting the safest remediation paths and verifying effectiveness without disrupting operations.
