Quang Hải named one of AFC's most anticipated stars for 2027 Asian Cup

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has named Vietnamese midfielder Quang Hải as one of the most anticipated stars for the 2027 Asian Cup. The recognition places him alongside prominent Asian players such as Son Heung-min.

The AFC highlighted Quang Hải’s historical contributions to Vietnamese football, specifically noting his performance at the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship in Changzhou, China, where his goals helped lead the team to the final. The organization also referenced his success at the 2018 ASEAN Cup and his impressive displays during the 2019 Asian Cup, where he earned a spot in the tournament's top XI.

Currently playing for Cong An Ha Noi, Quang Hải is expected to be a key figure for Vietnam in the upcoming tournament scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia.
