Quang Ngai hosts large-scale bonsai exhibition and fair

The 2026 Expanded Quang Ngai Ornamental Plant Exhibition and Fair is currently taking place at Pham Van Dong Square from September 7 to 15. The event features over 400 to 500 rare and unique bonsai works of various sizes, ranging from small to extra-large, brought by artisans from across the country.

Several high-value pieces are on display, including the work ‘Thach nham co moc,’ valued at 6.3 billion VND, and ‘Kim nghe vong nguyet,’ valued at 3.4 billion VND. The exhibition highlights a resurgence of interest in local species such as the ‘sanh que’ (Ficus) variety.

Organized by the Quang Ngai Ornamental Plant Association and the Cam Thanh Ward People's Committee, the event aims to implement government decrees on rural industry development. It seeks to create markets for ornamental and agricultural products, generate employment, increase local income, and honor skilled artisans.
