Quang Ngai official expelled from Party for negligence

The Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission has decided to expel Pham Van Thanh from the Communist Party. Thanh is the former Deputy Head of the Natural Resources and Environment Division of Quang Ngai City.

According to the commission, Thanh was found to have been irresponsible in performing his assigned duties and violated regulations regarding what Party members are prohibited from doing. He has been prosecuted for the crime of ‘irresponsibility causing serious consequences.’ The commission noted that his violations caused very serious consequences and damaged the reputation of the Party organization, his workplace, and himself.
