Quang Ngai scholarship fund awards 450 million VND to students

The Thắp sáng ước mơ Scholarship Fund has organized its 12th annual program in Quang Ngai province to support underprivileged students. For the 2026-2027 academic year, the fund is providing 150 scholarships totaling 450 million VND. This includes 100 scholarships presented during the main event and 50 scholarships designated for students in nine border communes.

Additionally, the fund launched a monthly sponsorship initiative for 26 students, providing 1 million VND per month for nine months. Since its inception, the fund—founded by a group of supporters based in Ho Chi Minh City—has distributed over 2.75 billion VND in scholarships and Tet gifts to families in need. Previous support also included gifts for students at Pham Van Dong University, including 20 students from Laos.
