Quang Ninh and Bac Ninh report major infrastructure and economic developments

Quang Ninh is planning significant infrastructure developments to transform Cua Luc Bay into an international urban hub by 2045. Following the completion of the Tinh Yeu and Binh Minh bridges, authorities are researching a third bridge, the Cua Luc Bridge. The proposed 5.2km project includes a 1.28km main span designed with 10 lanes and a two-tier structure, where the first level will serve commercial, tourism, and service functions.

Meanwhile, Bac Ninh has reported strong economic performance for the first nine months of 2026, maintaining its position as a national leader in exports with a total import-export turnover of approximately $177.8 billion. The city's GRDP for the third quarter is estimated to have grown by 14.25%. Bac Ninh has also attracted over $18 billion in investment, ranking fourth nationally in foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction.
