Quang Ninh authorities recommend prosecution for fake driver's license use

Police in Quang Ninh province have completed an investigation into Tran Quoc Bang, recommending he be prosecuted for using forged documents.

According to investigators, Bang purchased a fake A1 motorcycle license for 1.2 million VND via Facebook in September 2021. He subsequently used the fraudulent document in July 2023 when presenting it to authorities in Ha Long City during an administrative violation check. The case file has been transferred to the Quang Ninh Area 1 People's Procuracy for prosecution under the Penal Code.
