Quang Ninh conducts large-scale fire and rescue drill

On September 18, Quang Ninh City conducted a large-scale, modern fire prevention and rescue drill involving over 600 personnel and 67 specialized vehicles. The exercise included support from the Hai Phong City Police and Lang Son Province Police.

The simulated emergency involved an electrical equipment failure causing a fire at the air compressor system within the assembly workshop of the Thanh Cong Viet Hung Technology Complex Industrial Park Joint Stock Company. The scenario required the evacuation of workers and the management of a secondary fire threat involving a fuel tanker on the premises.

Participating equipment included command vehicles, aerial ladder trucks, water tankers, firefighting robots, ambulances, and reconnaissance drones. The drill focused on improving coordination between various forces to protect lives and property through rapid response, medical first aid, and high-altitude rescue operations.
