Quang Ninh hosts Mid-Autumn festivities and cultural heritage campaigns

Quang Ninh province is preparing for a series of cultural celebrations. In Bai Chay, a large-scale Mid-Autumn Festival event will feature a lantern parade with themed vehicles depicting figures such as the Jade Rabbit and Thanh Giong. Organized by Sun Group, the festivities include lion and dragon dances, art performances, and a fireworks display over Ha Long Bay.

Additionally, a literary and artistic campaign titled ‘Emperor Tran Nhan Tong and Ngoa Van’ has been launched to promote the historical and cultural values of the Ngoa Van heritage site. The initiative, involving various cultural unions and the Quang Ninh Buddhist Sangha, encourages artists to create works—including music, novels, and short stories—honoring the legacy of Emperor Tran Nhan Tong and the Truc Lam Zen sect.
