Quang Ninh hosts national conferences to resolve tourism bottlenecks

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Quang Ninh People's Committee, is hosting the 2026 National Travel Conference and the National Tourism Promotion Conference in Quang Ninh on September 24. The events, themed ‘Innovation - Connection - Elevation’ and ‘Innovation - Synergy - Breakthrough,’ aim to identify structural bottlenecks in travel and promotion activities.

The conferences serve as a forum to propose solutions and define responsibilities to realize the goal of making tourism a spearhead economic sector, in accordance with government resolutions. Approximately 250 delegates, including leaders from ministries, local authorities, experts, and representatives from the aviation, accommodation, and travel industries, are expected to attend.

Prior to the main event, the National Tourism Administration of Vietnam organized a survey for nearly 100 travel enterprises to experience Quang Ninh's tourism products, including Ha Long Bay and the Quang Ninh Museum. This initiative is intended to help businesses update their services and build partnerships to enhance regional and international travel links.
