Quang Ninh police dismantle prostitution ring operating as cafe

Police in Quang Ninh province have dismantled a prostitution ring operating under the guise of a cafe in Quang Duc commune. Authorities conducted a raid on Bao An Cafe, managed by Nguyen Thi Dung, where they caught Dung facilitating sexual services between men and women in private rooms to generate illicit income.

Investigations revealed that Dung began the operation in April 2024 after experiencing unstable income from the beverage business. She recruited unemployed women to live at the cafe and arranged sexual services for customers, with profits being shared among the participants. Dung has been formally charged with “hosting prostitution” and “brokering prostitution,” and the investigation is ongoing.
