The investigation revealed that in January 2025, Can commissioned the development of a computer program titled ‘Truong Hoc Ninja School’. This software was designed to mimic the script, gameplay, interface, characters, items, and storyline of the popular online game ‘Ninja School Online’, which is published by Gomobi Co., Ltd.

Can distributed the game for free via the internet and mobile devices to attract a large player base. Once established, he generated illicit profits by selling game accounts and virtual currency to players. As of July 2026, the total illegal profit from this unauthorized online game distribution was calculated at approximately 2.48 billion VND. The Quang Ninh Economic Police are continuing to expand their investigation into the case.
