Quang Ninh prepares for 2026 defense area exercise

Preparations are underway for the 2026 Quang Ninh City defense area exercise, scheduled to take place from October 14 to 16. The large-scale drill requires synchronized mobilization of various forces and sectors to ensure readiness according to the planned timeline.

Infrastructure projects are being accelerated to support the exercise. In Hoanh Bo ward, Military Corps 19 is constructing a road in Dong Giang village to facilitate the movement of forces and vehicles. The project, valued at nearly 7.5 billion VND, spans over 423 meters in length and includes a drainage system, reinforced concrete retaining walls, lighting, and safety signage. The road is intended to serve both the military exercise and local socio-economic development by improving regional transportation and trade.
