Vietnam regional authorities advance grassroots democracy and administrative reforms

Various regional authorities and the Vietnam Fatherland Front are implementing measures to enhance grassroots democracy, social criticism, and administrative efficiency across Vietnam.

In Lao Cai, a central supervision delegation reviewed the implementation of grassroots democracy, noting high public approval for administrative restructuring. In Quang Ninh, the Fatherland Front held discussions to improve the quality of social criticism, focusing on policies related to digital technology and semiconductor industries. Meanwhile, Thai Nguyen province reported high success rates in public dialogues, with over 97% of citizen petitions being resolved.

Administrative reforms are also underway in Hai Phong, where mass mobilization functions are being transferred to the Fatherland Front and mass organizations to streamline the political system. In Ca Mau, provincial leaders are working to strengthen internal unity and discipline within party organizations at the grassroots level. Additionally, Hạp Lĩnh ward is focusing on digital transformation and governance improvements within its local education sector.
