Quang Tri authorities find 21 unlicensed dental clinics

Authorities in Quang Tri province have identified 21 dental and maxillofacial clinics operating without required licenses. During inspections conducted in the first eight months of 2026, the Quang Tri Department of Health and provincial police discovered these unlicensed facilities, noting that such violations pose significant risks to patient health and rights.

Of the identified clinics, seven have already been penalized, while 13 remain under investigation. In response, the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee has ordered the Department of Health to intensify both periodic and unscheduled inspections. The directive emphasizes stricter post-licensing oversight and requires the public disclosure of names of organizations and individuals found in violation. Local authorities have also been held accountable for failing to detect and process illegal medical practices within their jurisdictions.
