Quang Tri brothers receive electric wheelchairs via reader donations

Two brothers in Quang Tri province, Luu Quang Vu and Luu Quang Minh, have received two electric wheelchairs following a fundraising effort by Thanh Niên Newspaper readers. The total amount raised was nearly 70 million VND.

In addition to the 25 million VND spent on the wheelchairs to assist the brothers with school commutes, the remaining funds were used by their mother, Hoang Thi Lang, to purchase eight goats for livelihood development and to build a water tank for household use. Local authorities in La Lay commune participated in the handover of the funds to help improve the family's living conditions.
