Quang Tri court voids illegal registration changes for Phu Sa Do Company

A court has ruled that the Quang Tri Department of Finance's Business Registration Office acted unlawfully when it issued a certificate changing the legal status of Phu Sa Do Trading and Tourism Joint Stock Company. The ruling resulted in the cancellation of the registration changes.

Owner Nguyen Quang Hai discovered that the company's legal information had been altered on the national business registration portal. The company was converted from a joint-stock company to a single-member limited liability company, the legal representative was changed from Mr. Hai to Ms. Le Thi Hong, and the registered charter capital dropped from 120 billion VND to approximately 19.3 billion VND.

The changes occurred following a long-standing share dispute. While a commercial appellate judgment determined that Mr. Hai had transferred a 16.1% stake to Ms. Hong, records also show significant additional capital contributions made by Mr. Hai and Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh between 2020 and 2025. The tourism site in question is located near the entrance to the Phong Nha - Ke Bang World Natural Heritage site.
