Quang Tri garment workers protest over unpaid wages

Dozens of workers from Thang Long Garment Trading Co., Ltd. gathered in front of the company gates in Dong Son Ward, Quang Tri province, on the morning of September 29 to demand unpaid wages.

Employees reported that their salaries have been delayed for two months. Some workers expressed concern regarding the movement of company assets, noting that machinery appeared to be dismantled and moved out of the facility. While some workers managed to enter the premises, many remained outside the closed gates, facing security personnel. Company leadership had not responded to inquiries regarding the cause of the payment delays or the specific timeline for settlement at the time of the report.
