Quang Tri man found injured after four days missing in forest

A 44-year-old man, identified as Ho Minh D., has been found in critical condition after disappearing for four days in a cajeput forest in Quang Tri province. The man went into the Gia Gia village forest area in Huong Hiep commune on August 7 to work and failed to return.

Local authorities and residents located him on the morning of August 10. He was found in a semi-conscious state with multiple injuries. Notably, numerous buffalo footprints were discovered around his location, leading his family to suspect he may have been attacked by a buffalo.

He was transported to Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital, where he is receiving intensive treatment for coma, high fever, exhaustion, and various physical injuries. Authorities are continuing to investigate the exact cause of the incident.
