A prominent example involves websites impersonating Oxalis Adventure, the exclusive operator of expeditions to Son Doong Cave. These fraudulent sites use domain names similar to the original brand and utilize Google advertising to appear at the top of search results, targeting users looking for Son Doong tours.

Authorities advise travelers to verify domain names, legal information, and official contact channels before making any deposits. Users are cautioned that a professional interface or a top search engine ranking does not guarantee legitimacy. Victims are encouraged to preserve evidence and report suspicious activity to the police.
