Quang Tri Province announces 16,234 billion VND tourism project
Quang Tri Province is moving forward with a major eco-tourism, resort, and entertainment complex at U Bo Mountain and Thac Chuoi Lake. The project, which aims to become a significant regional destination similar to Ba Na Hills, has an estimated total investment of 16,234 billion VND.
The development will span approximately 167.46 hectares and is expected to attract 3 million visitors annually. Planned infrastructure includes 3 to 5-star accommodation facilities, commercial and service buildings, cultural works, parks, and a cable car system capable of reaching mountain peaks exceeding 1,000 meters.
Local authorities have taken several administrative steps to facilitate the project. The Quang Tri Provincial People's Council has approved the resolution to change forest land use purposes, and the Provincial People's Committee has officially approved the investment policy. Additionally, the Quang Tri Province Asset Auction Service Center has announced auctions for land use rights and natural forest utilization to implement the project.
