Quang Tri to host 2026 Culture and Tourism Week

Quang Tri is set to host the 2026 Culture and Tourism Week from November 24 to 30. Under the theme ‘Radiant Land of Wonders,’ the event will feature a variety of cultural, artistic, sporting, and tourism activities across several locations, including the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, and the Hien Luong-Ben Hai river banks.

A major highlight of the festival will be the 2026 Quang Tri International Hot Air Balloon Week, scheduled to take place at the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel and the Hien Luong-Ben Hai area between November 25 and November 28. Additionally, the program includes a mobile film week titled ‘Viet Cinema—Cultural Pride, Community Connection’ aimed at mountainous communes, and the finals of the first Quang Tri Provincial Singing Festival.

The province intends for these activities to promote local images, expand tourism appeal, and provide spaces for community exchange while honoring local customs and traditions.
