Quant (QNT) surges 300% following US and UK banking deals

The Quant (QNT) token has experienced a massive price surge, gaining over 300% in a single week. This rally is driven by significant institutional developments in both the United States and the United Kingdom.

In the US, The Clearing House—an organization owned by 25 major banks including JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, and Citi—has selected Quant to power its On-Chain Money Initiative. This project aims to create a network for tokenized bank deposits, with a planned launch in the first half of 2027.

Simultaneously, in the UK, Quant’s infrastructure was used by several major banks, including Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds, NatWest, and Santander, to complete the first live interbank transactions involving tokenized British pound deposits.

While the price rally has been spectacular, some analysts have noted high levels of reported trading volume, with on-chain data suggesting a significant portion of transfer volume may be wash trading. Despite this, market sentiment remains high, with some analysts predicting much higher long-term price targets due to the growing trend of real-world asset tokenization.
