Quantinuum partners with Quanta Computer and Oracle to scale quantum computing
Quantinuum is expanding its ecosystem through strategic partnerships aimed at transitioning quantum computing from laboratory research to industrial-scale application.
In a collaboration with Quanta Computer, the companies are co-developing hardware infrastructure to support scalable, modular, and manufacturable quantum systems. This partnership focuses on building the manufacturing ecosystems and supply chains necessary to move toward mass-producing commercial quantum computers.
Simultaneously, Quantinuum has entered a multi-year partnership with Oracle to integrate its Helios quantum computer into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This integration allows OCI customers to access quantum computing resources alongside high-performance computing (HPC) and GPU infrastructure. The goal is to create a hybrid environment where quantum, AI, and traditional supercomputing work together to solve complex problems in fields such as drug discovery, materials science, and financial modeling. The Helios system, a third-generation ion-trap quantum computer, is expected to be available for commercial use in November 2025.
