Quantum Computing Firms Aqarios and D‑Wave Shift Stock Listings

Aqarios Quantum Technologies AG completed a $140 million SPAC transaction and began trading on the Düsseldorf Stock Exchange, becoming the first pure‑play quantum computing company listed in Germany. Chief Executive Michael Lachner said the funds will expand the Luna hardware‑agnostic quantum application platform and support partnerships with BASF, E.ON, MTU Aero Engines and the QuCUN initiative.

D‑Wave Quantum announced it will move its shares from the New York Stock Exchange to the NASDAQ at the end of July, keeping the QBTS ticker unchanged. The company said the change is aimed at attracting a broader base of technology‑focused investors and does not affect its business model, capital structure or share count. D‑Wave’s CEO Alan Baratz highlighted the NASDAQ’s alignment with growth‑oriented tech firms.
