Quantum-Systems opens new R&D office in Huntsville, Alabama

Quantum-Systems Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Quantum Systems Group, has opened a new 3,200-square-foot engineering and research and development office in Huntsville, Alabama. Located in Upland Park adjacent to Cummings Research Park, the facility aims to strengthen the company’s proximity to U.S. defense customers, military program offices, and industry partners.

The new office will focus on the development of next-generation unmanned intelligence capabilities, including systems for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and target acquisition. The company’s technical work spans aerodynamics, flight controls, computer vision, autonomy, and AI-integrated hardware and software.

Dave Sharpin, CEO of Quantum-Systems Inc., stated that the Huntsville location allows the company to work more closely with customers, expand its engineering workforce, and accelerate system integration by receiving direct operational feedback.
