Quarrata allocates 80,000 euros for waste tax relief

The Municipality of Quarrata has allocated 80,000 euros from its budget to provide social relief for the 2026 urban waste tax (Taric). This initiative, which is not legally mandatory, aims to assist local households in reducing their waste management costs.

Eligibility and reduction levels are based on the ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator):

• A 50% reduction for households with an ISEE of 5,000 euros or less. • A 30% reduction for households with an ISEE between 5,000.01 and 9,796 euros, or for those with an ISEE up to 20,000 euros if they have four dependent children. • A 25% reduction for households with an ISEE between 9,796.01 and 15,000 euros.

To qualify, domestic users must not have outstanding TARI debts from previous years, including 2024. The application period for this municipal aid runs from August 31, 2026, to October 18, 2026. Additionally, eligible families may also receive a 25% state-level social bonus.
