QUByte Interactive announces Blades & Battles release date

QUByte Interactive has announced that its upcoming beat ‘em up title, Blades & Battles, is scheduled for release on September 29, 2026. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Inspired by Arthurian legends, the game follows younger versions of Arthur and Lancelot before the formation of the Round Table. Players must navigate a Camelot overrun by demonic creatures, undead forces, and the magic of Morgana le Fay. The campaign features eight stages, including locations such as the Forest of Sherwood and the Valley of No Return.

The title offers a stylized 2.5D visual approach, utilizing 3D environments with selectable pixelation filters to emulate 16-bit and arcade aesthetics. Gameplay supports both single-player and local two-player cooperative modes, with Arthur and Lancelot featuring distinct combat styles and special attacks. A demo is currently available for PC.
