QUByte Interactive announces Thunder Hoop Collection for PC and consoles

QUByte Interactive has announced the Thunder Hoop Collection, a modern reissue of two classic 1990s action-platformers developed by Gaelco. The collection includes the digital versions of Thunder Hoop (1992) and Thunder Hoop Strikes Back (1994).

The release will feature original content alongside several modern enhancements and optimizations. These include a quick rewind function to undo mistakes, the ability to save and load at any time, and customizable CRT and tube TV graphic filters for a retro aesthetic. Additionally, players can face bio-mutant enemies in both alternating turn-based and simultaneous cooperative modes.

The collection is scheduled for release on October 8 across multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2.
