Quebec athletes excel at Canadian BMX Championships

The Quebec BMX team achieved significant success at the Canadian BMX Championships held in St-Albert, Alberta. The team secured three national titles across the categories they represented, with Alexis Rhéaume (U23), Victoria Dubé (U23), and Laurianne Béland (Junior) each winning first place in their respective divisions.

Overall, Quebec athletes secured 13 victories across various categories during the championships. The event also included the Canada Cup, where several Quebec riders reached the podium.

Among the individual standout performers were brothers Björn and William Leclair from the BMX Drummond club. Seven-year-old Björn Leclair was crowned the Canadian champion in the 7-year-old category. His brother, William, finished 11th in the 9-year-old category. Other notable performances from the Drummond club included Nicolas Londono, who became the Canadian champion in the 30-34 age group, and Martin Gutierrez, who placed third in the 10-year-old category.
