Quebec August 2026 festivals showcase local talent in Lac‑Mégantic and Montreal

The sixth edition of the Colline Festival will run from 6 to 8 August 2026 in Lac‑Mégantic, Quebec’s only Cittaslow‑certified town. Director Hubert Lavallée‑Bellefleur said the event will expand free daytime activities in the new Village Colline, add a youth zone, night‑time performances at the former factory, outdoor concerts on the prairie and a midnight mass of DJ sets. The lineup includes Pierre Lapointe, Klô Pelgag, Paul Piché, the Sœurs Boulay and other emerging Quebec artists, with 25 shows scheduled over three days.

Meanwhile, Montreal’s Osheaga festival continued its August 2026 run, highlighting a mix of homegrown and international acts. Notable performances featured debut stage appearance by Moses Bélanger, surprise set by the Saguenay‑based band Angine de Poitrine, electronic collective Moonshine, pop star Tate McRae and Indigenous singer‑songwriter Tia Wood.
