Quebec balloon festivals announce 2026 musical lineups

Major hot air balloon festivals in Quebec have announced their upcoming musical lineups and activities.

The Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Fest, scheduled for September 2–6, 2026, at La Baie Park, will feature performances by Simple Plan, Smash Mouth, and Half Moon Run. The event includes more than 20 hot air balloons, amusement rides, over 30 food trucks, fireworks, and a wrestling gala. Children aged 10 and under can attend for free.

The International de montgolfières de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is also highlighting its programming for the 2026 season. The lineup features various Quebec artists, including Émile Bilodeau, Québec Redneck Bluegrass Project, Ariane Roy, Half Moon Run, Ariane Moffatt, Sarahmée, and Fredz.
