Quebec business leaders discuss 2027 Canada Games and regional growth

The Quebec City Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIQ) recently hosted a business forum focused on the 2027 Canada Games. Economic experts estimate the event will generate over $100 million in economic benefits for the region. The games are expected to leave a lasting infrastructure legacy, including a FIS-certified slope at Mont-Sainte-Anne, a modernized Le Relais training center, a new speed skating center, and a $3.4 million squash center.

Separately, the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal has unveiled its 2026-2027 programming under the theme ‘Unleashing our full potential.’ The season aims to address economic productivity and prosperity in Quebec through dialogue between political, institutional, and cultural leaders. The scheduled lineup includes high-profile speakers such as Ontario Premier Doug Ford and various executives from Desjardins and National Bank.
