Quebec City welcomes new luxury cruise maiden calls

Quebec City has welcomed new luxury cruise arrivals as part of an expanding maritime season at the Port of Quebec. The Seabourn Ovation made its maiden call to the city on September 23, 2026, as part of a 12-day itinerary traveling from New York City to Montreal. The visit included a formal plaque exchange ceremony between Captain Emilian Cygan and local port officials.

Following this, the Explora III is scheduled to make its inaugural visit to Quebec City on September 27, 2026. As the first vessel in the Explora Journeys fleet powered by liquefied natural gas, the ship is part of an East Coast program connecting Canadian ports with destinations in the United States.

The Port of Quebec expects a busy October, with nearly 30 ship visits scheduled from various cruise lines, including Princess, Cunard, Holland America, Celebrity, Norwegian, and Regent.
