Quebec cultural events feature roller skating and music festivals

Various cultural events are taking place in Quebec. In Montreal, the Tranquille à roulettes event has launched at Esplanade Tranquille. The activity offers outdoor roller skating in the city center, featuring retro disco music, live animation, and professional skaters. Equipment rentals, including skates and helmets, are available on-site, and the program is scheduled to run until October 25.

In Quebec City, the Envol et Macadam festival continued its 2026 edition with a focus on metal and hardcore music. Performances included thrash metal band Vader and a highly anticipated return to the city by Montreal-based Despised Icon. The festival also featured a performance by the hardcore group Hatebreed, with the weekend concluding under sunny autumn weather.
