Quebec Prehospital Workers' Federation Reaches Principle Agreement with Government

The Fédération du préhospitalier du Québec (FPHQ) congratulated the Fédération des syndicats du secteur de la santé du Québec (CSN) for reaching a principle agreement with the provincial government to renew their collective contract. The agreement was announced on the evening of Friday, 24 July, three years after the previous contract’s deadline.

While salary, benefits and bonuses have been settled, the FPHQ remains in negotiations with Quebec over other matters, notably the retirement regime, which workers want to qualify after 35 years of service. The union urges its members to continue pressuring elected officials respectfully. The agreement covers a range of ambulance service providers across the province.
