The 2026 sailing season in Quebec has concluded, marked by several high-profile regattas and record-breaking participation. The Quebec Sailing Federation's circuit featured over 150 athletes across various classes, including Optimist, ILCA, 420, and F18.
Key events included the Festivoile in the Ottawa region, the TRY regatta at the Pointe-Claire Yacht Club, and Écovoile in Carleton-sur-Mer, which set a new participation record with nearly 60 vessels. The circuit wrapped up in the Laurentians at the Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts Sailing School.
Additionally, the 12th edition of the Coupe Femina saw significant growth, recording 230 registrations and 215 participants. The event, which aims to promote women's participation in sailing, featured three distinct races, including the FEMINA Challenge, a 10 to 12-hour night race on the St. Lawrence River.
