Queen Camilla attends Ebor Festival at York Racecourse

Queen Camilla attended the Ebor Festival at York Racecourse on Wednesday, August 19. Despite initial rain, the Queen, who has served as patron of the racecourse since 2024, participated in the event and met with various local figures and organizations.

During her visit, the Queen met retiring jockey Joe Fanning, who was honored following his recovery from prostate cancer. She also met with representatives from St John Ambulance, Bereaved Children Support York, Friends of Rowntree Park, and the racehorse re-homing charity New Beginnings. The event included a parachute display by the RAF Falcons.

In terms of attire, the Queen wore a blue dress by Anna Valentine, a Jockey Club brooch, and a custom cornflower blue feathered hat designed by milliner Philip Treacy. She also carried a clear birdcage umbrella by Fulton.
