Queen Camilla reveals evening reading routine with King Charles III

Queen Camilla has shared details regarding her and King Charles III’s evening routine in a BBC documentary titled ‘The Book That Changed My Life’. The Queen revealed that the couple enjoys sitting in silence to read books together before dinner.

Camilla noted that while the time is usually peaceful, the King’s reactions can sometimes be disruptive. She mentioned that his sudden outbursts of laughter at something he is reading can make it difficult for her to concentrate, or occasionally cause her to cry.

Emphasizing the importance of literacy, the Queen stated that books are a vital part of human heritage, suggesting that the loss of reading would be a tragedy for humanity.
